Quilting Services

Quilting designs range from simple to complex which affects the amount of time and thread needed to complete the quilt. Therefore we have different price ranges for designs: for example, 2.0¢, 2.5¢, 3.0¢ per square inch.

To estimate the cost of service, multiply length x width x design price. 

Examples:

   55" X 72" X .022¢ = $87.12

   55" X 72" X .028¢ = $110.88

   55" X 72" X 0.032¢ = $126.72

Minimum charge is $75.00.

The backing must be 8" longer and 8" wider than the quilt top, batting must be 6" longer and 6" wider than the quilt top.

We always measure your quilt when we check it in by opening it up completely and laying it on the front rail of the quilt frame. This is the most accurate way and helps us to be sure we have correct batting and backing dimensions before we begin quilting.

Custom name embroidery

If you would like a name embroidered on your quilt, please indicate on the order form the thread color and correct spelling.

Prices are $3.00 per letter.

Binding

The binding is stitched to the back of the quilt and then brought to the front of the quilt and topstitched. Or if you would like to bind by hand, I can attach the binding to the front for you to hand stitch to the back.

Send me binding fabric or ask me to make binding from the backing fabric.

If you want to make the binding, please use 2.5 inch strips. Call me with any questions.

Attach premade binding to front only:      10¢ per linear inch

Make and attach binding to front only:      20¢ per linear inch
